On the coming into force of this Act- The enactments specified in the Second Schedule to this Act shall be deemed to have been amended to the extent and in the manner specified in the second column thereof. THE FIRST SCHEDULE STANDARD WEIGHTS [See Section 3 (1)] Part I Act IX of 1939- Section 3, sub-section (1) of the Standards of Weight Act, 1939:-
