Amendment of section 6 of the Assam Act VI of 1955.—In Section 6 of the Principal Act,— in sub-section (1),— (i) for the words “for land excluding building or structure, if any a sum not exceeding twenty times the annual land revenue” the words “for land including standing crops and trees, if any, but excluding ^building or structure, a sum not exceeding forty times the annual land revenue in case of Periodic Patta Land and fifteen times the annual land revenue in case of Annual Patta Land” shall be substituted. (n) In proviso to sub-section (2) of section 6, the word “materials” occuring in the 3rd and the 6th line shall be substituted by “buildings or structures as the case may be’*,, [Price -06 nP. or Id.] AG P (Leg) 19/59—1,550—24-10-59.
