Ownership ol Assets creoted:- (l) The ownership of the ossets creoted by Public Heolth Engineering ond Woter Supply Deportment like heodworks, sedimentotion tonks, filtrotion tonks, storoge tonks, distribution tonks, overheod tonks, pumps, motors, ring well, lift woter supply system, the moin ond service lines, woter meter, woter tops etc. in Urbon, Semi-urbon ond rurol oreos sholl vest with the Public Heolth Engineering ond Woter Supply Deportment till these ore honded over to the consumers, locol bodies, Non Government Orgonizotion, Ponchoyots or Villoge Woter Sonitotion Commiftee etc. (2) The ownership of service line in the cose of privote consumers sholl olso vest with Public Heolth Engineering ond Woter Supply Deportment even though the cost of ony connection or port thereof hos been borne by the opplicont. (3) The field officers of the Public Heolth Engineering ond Woter Supply Deportment sholl be outhorized to toke over old pipelines whenever new pipelines ore loid in lieu of old pipes ond they moy shift ond use these old pipes to ony other locotions os deemed fit. (4) ln the event of such shifting ond re-use of old pipes under section 21, the deportment sholl mointoin proper records like Moteriol Account ot Site. (5) The ownership of woter supply ossets creoted under different progrommes by other deportments olso sholl be vested in Public Heolth Engineering & Woter Supply Deportment. 16
