Power and functions of State Road Authority : Subject to the provisions of this Act, State road authority shall have the following powers and functions : (a) to execute road development schemes; (b) to control ribbon development; (c) to prevent and remove encroachment; (d) to exercise such powers and functions as necessary and incidental to any or all of the above matters, and (e) to exercise such other powers and functions as may be prescribed.
