Annual check of State road boundaries : (1) It shall be the duty of the State Road Authority to conduct an annual check of the boundaries of the State Road, in its charge with a view to locating unauthorized encroachment, if any. (2) When the State Road Authority is satisfied that un- authorized encroachment has been made on State road land, it shall take immediate steps as specified in section 26 for the removal thereof.
