In the Arunachal Pradesh Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act, 1983, after section 3, the following section shall be inserted, namely:- “3A. Notwithstanding anything contained in section 3, the salary payable to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers (including Leader of Opposition), Insertion of new section 3A Minister of State and Deputy Ministers under Section 3 shall be reduced by thirty percent, for a period of one year commencing from 1% April, 2020, to meet the exigencies arising out of Corona Virus {Covid-19) pandemic”.
