Every member of Gram Panchayat or [***] or Zilla Parishad who is not in the service of the Government shall be entitled to receive from the fund of a Gram Panchayat, [***] or Zilla Parishad travelling and daily allowances for attending its meetings or the meeting of any of its committees at such rates as may be prescribed.
