Stalutes: Subject to the provision of this Act, the statutes may provide for any matter relatlng to the University and staff, as given below :- (a) The constitution, powers and functions ol the authorities and other bodies of the University as specified in the Act and such other authorilies as may be constituted lrom time to time ; (b) The operation of the endowment fund, the general fund and the development fund; (c) The terms and conditions of appointed of lhe Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar and the finance officer and their powers and functions ; (d) The mode of recruitment and the conditions of service of the other officers, teachers and employees of the University ; (e) The procedure lor resolving disputes between the University and its offices, faculty members employees and students ; (f) Certain abolition or restructuring of departments and faculties i (g) The manner of co-operation with other Universities or lnstitutions of higher learning ; (h) The procedure for conferment of honorary degrees ; (i) Provisions regarding grant of free-ship, sponsorships and scholarship; 145 0 Number of seats rn diflerent courses of studies and the procedure of admission of students to such courses; (k) ThB fee chargeable from students for various courses of studies: (l) lnstitution of fellowshjps, scholarships, studentships, freeships, medals and prizes; (m) Procedure lor creation and abolition of posts i (n) Other matters which any be prescribed ;
