The Finance Committee : (1) The Finance Committee shall consist of :- (a) The Vice-Chancellor as Chairman ; (b) The Begistrar as Secretary ; (c) The Finance Officer as Member ; (d) Such other members as may be recommended by Sponsor ; (e) One representative ol the State Government basically holding financial charges in the Department of Education. 143 144 (2) The Finance Committee shall be the principal linancial body of the University to take care of tinancial matters and shall, subiect to the provision of this Act, Rules and Statutes, Coordinate and exercise general supervision over the financial matters of the University;
