Municipal Election Officer, Municipal Electoral Registration Officers/, Assistant Municipal Electoral Registration Officer, Municipal Returning Officer, Assistant Municipal returning Officer, Presiding Officers, Polling Officers and any other Officer appointed under this Act and any police officer designated for the time being by the State Govt,for the conduct of any election shall be deemed to be on Election deputation to the State Election Commission and remain under the control, superintendence and discipline of the State Election Commission from the date of the notification and ending with the date of declaration of the results of such elections.
