ln the prlncipalAct, in section 50, after sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be inserted ;- (3)'Notwithstanding anything contained in section 81, the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor ofthe Corporation shall asume office after taking an oath of Secrecy. lt shall be administered by Commlssioner of the Corporation in the following form ; do swear in the name of God/solemnly affirm that I will not directly or indirectly communicate or reveal to any person or persons any matterwhich shall be brought under myconsideration or shall become known to me as Mayor/Deputy Mayor except as may be required for the due discharge of my duties'. (6) "Nothwithstanding anything contained in section 81, the Commissioner in consultation with the Mayor ofthe Corporation shall convene a meeting of the Corporation as early as possible, but not later than thirty days after the election of the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor."
