Measures for lighting : The Commissioner shall- (a) take measures for lighting in a suitable manner all such public streets and public places as may be specified by the Corporation; (b) procure, erect and maintain such number of lamps, lamp posts and other appurtenances as may be necessary for the said purpose ; (c) cause such lamps to be lighted by means of oil, electricity or such other light as the Corporation may determine.
