(1) A Councillor may give to the Municipal secretary notice to the effect that he or his spouse is a member of a company or is a partner in a firm or is in the employment under a person, and if any contract made or is proposed to be made or firm or person, such notice shall, unless and unit is withdrawn, be deemed to be a sufficient disclosure of his interest in such contract ,proposed contract which may be the subject consideration at a meeting of the Municipality aft the date of the notice. (2) The Municipal Secretary shall record in a book, be kept for the purpose, particulars of are disclosure made under subsection (l) of section 55 and of any notice given under sub section of this section, and the book shall be open at a reasonable hours for the inspection of an Councillor.
