For the purpose of review of the existing establishment of the Municipalities in the State, and for fixing norms and standards of manpower for different tasks performed at various levels of Municipalities, and for performance of similar other functions, the State Government may constitute a Municipal Establishment Audit Commission in such manner and consisting of a chairperson and such other members, and on such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed.
