In any case not otherwise expressly provided for in this Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer may with the prior approval of the Empowered Standing Committee pay compensation to any person who sustains damage by reasons of the exercise of any of the powers vested by this Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder on the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer or on any other officer or other employee of the Municipality.
