(1) The Chief Municipal Executive Officer/Municipal Executive Officer may at any time during the erection or re-erection of a building or the execution of any work under this chapter make an inspection thereof without giving any previous notice of his intention so to do. (2) The Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer may inspect any existing building at any time by giving seven days notice in advance.
