(1) The first meeting of a Municipality after the general election of Councillors to the Municipality shall be convened within thirty days from the date of publication of the names of elected Councillors in the Official gazette under the provisions of any law relating to municipal elections in the State. (2) seven days' notice sha1l be given for the meeting; (3) In the case of a Municipal Council or a Nagar Panchayat, the meeting shall be convened by the District Magistrate or any other Executive Magistrate authorized by the District Magistrate in this behalf.
