(1) No person shall, without the general or special permission, in writing, of the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer, sell, or expose for sale, any animal or article in any municipal market within the municipal area. (2) Any person contravening the provisions of subsection (1) and any animal or article exposed for sale by such person may, by or under the order of the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer, be summarily removed from the market by a police officer or any officer or other employee of the Municipality authorized by the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/Municipal Executive Officer in this behalf.
