For the purpose of effectual drainage of any premises in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, it shall be competent for the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer, or any other agency authorized by him in this behalf, to require that there shall be one drain for sewage, offensive matter and polluted water and an entirely separate drain for rain water or unpolluted subsoil water or both rain water and unpolluted subsoil water, each emptying into separate municipal drains or other suitable places.
