Admissions : (1)Admission in the university may be made on the basis of merit or in any other manner as the academic council may decide. (2) Merit for admission in the University may be determined either on the basis of marks or grade obtained in the qualifying examination and achievements in co-curricular and extrarurricular activities or on the basb of marks or grade oblained in the entrance conducted at the Sltate level either by an association ofthe universities conducrting similar courses or any other manner; (3) lf the students pass out a level of any course, university may consider the admission of that student in next level on credit transfer basis from other universities or institutes. (4) Reservation in admission to the Universityfor Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward classes, women and handicapped persons shall be provided as per the approval of the board of management. 276 32, Feestructur€: (1)The Univercity may, fromtimetotime, prepare its fees struclure and send it for approvalofthe committee constituted for the purpose. (2) The committee shall consider the fees structure prepared by the University and if it is satisfied that the proposed fees is- (a) sufficient for:- (i) generating resources for meeting the recurring expenditure of the University: and (ii) the saving required forthe further development ofthe University; it may approve the fees structure. (3) The fees structure approved by the committee under sub- section(2) shallremain in force for one year and the University shall be entitled to charge fees in accordance with such fees structure.
