Admissions : (1) Admission in the university may be made on the basis of merit or in any other manner as the academic council may decide. (2) Merit for admission in the University may be determined either on the basis of marks or grade obtained in the qualifying examination and achievements in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities or on the basis of marks or grade obtained in the entrance examination conducted at the State level either by an association of the universities conducting similar courses or any other manner, (3) Reservation in admission to the University for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward classes, women and handicapped persons shall be provided as per the approval of the board of management.
