(1) Every Officer of the Police, Excise shall be bound, subject to any rules made under section 77 to give immediate information to an Excise Officer of all breaches of any of the provisions of this Act which may come to his knowledge. (2) Every Officer referred to in sub-section (1) and every village Authority, shall be bound, subject to any rules made under section 77 to give reasonable aid to any Excise Officer in carrying out the provisions of this Act, or of any rule, notification or order made, issued or given under this Act, upon request made by such officer.
