(1) A licensed vendor shall not have in his possession at any place other than that authorised by his licence any intoxicant in excess of such quantity as the State Government may under section 4 declare to be the limit of retail sale. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing provision if the State Government thinks fit so to do on the ground of health, morality or public order, it may, by notification, prohibit either absolutely or subject to such conditions as it may prescribe the possession of any Establishment of distilleries, breweries or warehouses. License required for Depositing or keeping intoxicant in warehouse or other place of storage. Payment of duty on removal from distillery, brewery, warehouse or other place of storage. intoxicant by all persons generally or by any specified class or classes of persons.
