Recovery of sums due under this chapter : - Any sum required to be repaid or paid to the State Government in pursuance of section 58 or section 59 or section 60 may, without prejudice to any modes of recovery provided in any other law for the time being in force, be recovered from the properties of the institution or from the Governing Council thereof as ifit were an arrear ofland revenue due from such educational institution or Governing Council.
