Penalty for ragging : (1) No person who is a student in an educational institution shall commit ragging. (2) Any person who contravenes sub-section (1) shall on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two weeks or with fine which may extend to two thousand five hundred rupees or with both.
