(1) ln thisAct, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context otherwrse requires,- (a) "Committee" means the District Planning Committee - constituted under section 3 ; (b) "Govemment" means the Govemment ofArunachal Pradesh ; (c) "membe/ means member of the Committee and includes the Chairperson thereof ; (d) ''Municipality" means a Nagar Panchayat or a Municipal Council or a Municipal Corporation constituted under the Arunachal Pradesh MunicipalAct, 2007 (Act No. 4 of 2008) ; 19 (e) "Panchayat" means a Gram Sabha, Gram Panchayat, Anchal Samity and Zilla Parishad constituted under the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat RajAct, 1997 (Act No. 5 of 2001) ; (0 "Prescribed means as presbribed by rules ; (g)"rules means rules made bythe Govemment under this Act , (h) "Zilla Parishad; means a Zilla Parishad,constfuEd under the ArunachalPradesh Panchayat Raj Acl, '1997 (Act No. 5 of 2001).
