The Registrar, a person exercising the powers of the Registrar, a person authorized to audit the accounts of a society under section 82, or to hold an inquiry under section 84, or to make an inspection under section 86, and a person appointed as an administrator under section 79, or as a nominee or board of nominee or board of nominees under section 97, or as a Liquidator under Section 107 shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
