Local limits of jurisdiction : (1) The Government may, by notification, fix and from time to time vary the local limits of jurisdiction of any Civil Court under this Act in consultation with the High Court. (2) The local limits of jurisdiction of a Civil Court existing immediately prior to the commencement of this Act shall, until it is fixed under this Act be deemed to be the local limits of jurisdiction of that court.
