Application of Act XVIII of 1850.-Every DC, Certificate Officer, Assistant Commissioner ad Additional Deputy commissioner acting under this Act, and every officer of the Government making a requisition under section 5, shall, in the discharge of his functions under this Act, be deemed to be acting judicially within the meaning of the Judicial Officer's Protection Act, 1850 (XVIII of 1850).
