(l) When a sentence ofdeath passed by the lDeputy Commissioner|,':is confirmed by the [High Court]' , the [Deputy Commissionerl2, shall, on receiving the order of confirmation, cause such order to be citrried into effect by issuing a warrent in the form given in item No.XXXV of Schedule V of the Code of Criminat Procedwe, 1898 and taking such step6 as may be necessary. (2) The [Deputy Commissioner]'? shall fix the time and place ofexecution, and the time fixed shall not be less than 2l or more than 28 days from the date of issue of the warrcnt. t.
