The (state)1 Government may, by notification in the [Arunachal Pradesh]2 Gazette, direct that, in lieu of the fines fixed by section 12 of the Act, last aforesaid, there shall be levied for each head of cattle impounded under section 66 of this Regulation such fines as it thinks fit, but not exceeding the following namely :- Rs.a For each elephant 10.0 For each buffalo 2.0 For each horse, mare, gelding pony, colt, filly, mule, bull, bullock, cow, or heifer 1.0 For each calf, ass, pig, ram. ewe, sheep, lamb, goat, or kid 0.8 CHAPTER-X FOREST OFFICERS
