(1) Public notice shall, from time to time as occasion may require, be given by a Forest Officer specially empowered in this behalf of timber collected under the last foregoing section. (2) Such notice shall contain a description of the timber' and will require any person claiming the same to present to such officer, within a period not less than one month from the date on which such across frontiers. customs Certain kinds or timber to be deemed the property of the State Government until title thereto proved.
