casual vacancy. Resignation of Chairperson, and Members. Disqualification of Member of the Board. Appointment of Sub- committee. Superintendence of the Board. Functions and powers of the Board. The Members of the Board other than an ex-officio Member shall be paid from the Marketing Development fund for such sitting fee and allowances for attending its meetings and for attending to any other work as may be fixed by the Government from time to time. In the event of death or resignation or disqualification or removal of any Member of the Board or any vacancy arising otherwise before the expiry of his term of office, a casual vacancy sh'all be deemed to have occurred in such office and such vacancy shall be filled, as soon as may be, by nomination by the Government. The person nominated shall hold such office so for the un-expired term of his predecessor.
