Subject to the provision made in sections 3 and 4, the State Government may, by further notification, delineate geographical area for a Market Committee as a delineated market area for the purpose of election of the Members of such Market Committee and undertaking developmental activities therein. Explanation: The Market Committee shall not regulate marketing. of notified agricultural produce and livestock in its delineated market area.
