( 1) The state Government may delegate to the any Officer of the Government not below the rank of Director, any of the powers conferred on it by or under the Act other than the powers to make Rules under section 125. (2) The officer so delegated under this section may sub-delegate any of his powers to any Officer of the State Government not below the rank of Deputy Director in the State or Under Secretary to the State Government.
