(1) The Antiquities (Export Control) Act, 1947 (3 of 1947) is hereby repealed. (2) For the removal of doubts it is hereby declared that every licence issued under section 3 of the Act repealed under sub-section (1) and in force at the commencement of this Act shall, notwithstanding that the period specified therein has not expired, cease to be in force.
