Ultimate authority of the new society to vest in its general body - Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Co-operative Societies Act, the rules and the bye-laws, the ultimate authority of the new society shall vest in the general body consisting of such members of the general bodies of the amalgamated societies as may be specified by the Government by notification.
