President and Vice-president of Council - (1) There shall be a President of the Council who shall be enrolled on the Register and shall be elected by the members of the Council from amongst themselves. He shall, subject to the provisions of this Act; hold office for a term of five years from the date he enters upon his office. (2) There shall be a Vice-President of the Council who shall be enrolled on the Register and shall be elected by the members of the 8 Council-from amongst themselves. He shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, hold office for a term of five years from the date he enters upon his office. (3) The President or the Vice-President shall, subject to the other provisions of this Act, be eligible for re-election.
