Failure to surrender certificate of registration – If any person whose name has been removed from the Register fails without sufficient cause to surrender his certificate of registration shall on conviction be punishable with fine which may extend to rupees fivehundred and in case of continuing offence with an additional fine which may extend upto rupees one hundred per month, or part thereof, after the first day during which the offence continues. 18
