Renewal of registration - (1) For retention of a name in the register a renewal fee as may be prescribed shall be paid every ten years to the Council, and such renewal fee shall be paid before the first day of April of the year to which it relates. (2) Where a renewal fee is not paid within the said date, the Secretary shall remove the name of the defaulter from the Register after giving a notice in such manner as may be prescribed: Provided that the name so removed may be restored to the Register on payment of such fee in such manner as may be prescribed. (3) On payment of the renewal fee, the Secretary shall issue a certificate of renewal and such certificate shall be proof of renewal of registration.
