Dean of Student Affairs - (1) The Dean of Student Affairs shall be a whole time officer and shall be appointed by the Board in the manner prescribed. (2) The salary and allowances payable to the Dean of Students Affairs shall be as may be prescribed. (3) The Dean of Student Affairs shall have the following duties namely:- (a) to make arrangements for the housing of students; (b) to arrange a programme of student counselling; (c) to arrange for the employment of students in accordance with the plans approved by the Vice-Chancellor; (d) to supervise the extracurricular activities and to look after the needs of student; (e) to assist in the placement of graduates of the University; and (f) to organize and maintain contact with the alumni of the University.
