Manner of service of the order of requisition - (1) An order of requisition shall be served on the landlord, the tenant or the licensee— (a) by delivering or tendering a copy of the order to the landlord or the tenant or the licensee and, if such delivery or tender is not immediately practicable, by affixing a copy of the order on the outer door or other conspicuous part of the building requisitioned; and (b) by sending by registered post a copy of the order of requisition addressed to the landlord or the tenant or the licensee at his usual place of residence. (2) An order of requisition shall be deemed to be served on the landlord or the tenant or the licensee, as the case may be, on the date on which the copy sent by registered post will, in the usual course of post, be received by the addressee. Such date is hereafter in this Act referred to as the date of service of the order.
