Short title, extent and commencement - (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Promotion of Social Audit and Prevention of Corrupt Practices Act, 2012. (2) It extends to whole of the State of Andhra Pradesh and applies to all persons residing in the State of Andhra Pradesh or concerned with the implementation of various Government schemes and programmes subjected to social audit. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 19th August, 2011.
