Delegation - For purposes of giving effect to this Act, the Commissioner, 1[the Collector, the Assistant Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise] or the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent may, by order, delegate to any officer subordinate to him any of the powers conferred on or functions entrusted to the Commissioner, 1[the Collector or the Assistant Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise] or the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent by or under this Act, subject to such restrictions and control as may be prescribed, and subject all of such limitations and conditions, if any, as may be specified in the order of delegation.
