No Sarpanch, Upa-Sarpanch or members to receive remuneration - No Sarpanch, Upa-Sarpanch or member shall receive, or be paid from the funds at the disposal of or under the control of the gram panchayat, any salary or other remuneration for services rendered by him whether in his capacity as such or in any other capacity. Nothing in this section shall prevent the Sarpanch from receiving any honorarium fixed by order, by the Government.
