Repeal and savings - (1) The following Acts are hereby repealed, namely:- (i) The Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats Act 1964. (Act 2 of 1964); (ii) The Andhra Pradesh Mandal Praja Parishads, ZillaPraja Parishads and Zilla Pranalika and Abhivrudhi Sameeksha Mandals Act, 1986 (Act 31 of 1986); and (iii) The Andhra Pradesh Local Bodies Electoral Reforms Act, 1989, (Act 28 of 1989). (2) On such repeal the provisions of sections 8 and 18 of the Andhra Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1891 (Act 1 of 1891) shall apply.
