*[Chairperson], President, Sarpanch etc., to be public servants - The *[Chairperson], the *[Vice-Chairperson]or a member of a *[Zilla Praja Parishad], the President, the Vice-President or a member of a *[Mandal Praja Parishad], the Sarpanch, Upa-Sarpanch or member of a Gram Panchayat, the Chief *[Executive Authority], or any Officer or servant of a *[Zilla Praja Parishad] or a *[Mandal Praja Parishad] Development Officer, the *[Executive Authority], or any Officer or servant of a *[Zilla Praja Parishad] or a *[Mandal Praja Parishad] or the gram panchayat shall be deemed to be a public servant, within the meaning of section 21 of Indian Penal Code (Central Act 45 of 1860).
