Funds of the *[Zilla Praja Parishad] - (1) All moneys received by the *[Zilla Praja Parishad] shall constitute a fund called the *[Zilla Praja Parishad] Fund and shall be applied for the purposes specified in this Act and for such other purposes and in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) All moneys received by the *[Zilla Praja Parishad] shall be lodged in the nearest Government Treasury. 1[Provided that the amounts received as funds under the Jawahar Rozgar Yojana Employment Assurance Scheme or other Wage Employment Schemes shall be lodged in nearby Nationalised Banks or Co-operative Banks or Post Offices in such manner as may be prescribed.] (3) All orders or cheques against the *[Zilla Praja Parishad] Fund shall be signed by the Chief *[Executive Authority].
