Compounding of offences -On the application of a person accused of an offences under this Act or any rule or order made thereunder, the Oil Palm Commissioner or any authority or Officer authorised by him in this behalf may, at any stage, compound such offence by levying a compounding fee not exceeding rupees ten thousand.
