Establishment of University - (1) There shall be established in the State of Andhra Pradesh a University by the name of the “2[NALSAR University of Law]”. (2) The University shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession 1 . The words added by the Act No. 7 of 2005 Section 2. 2 . The words substituted by the Act No. 7 of 2005 Section 3. and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by its name represented by the Registrar of the University. (3) The University shall be 1[*] engaged in teaching and research in law and in allied disciplines. (4) The main seat of the University shall be at Hyderabad and it may establish campuses at such other places as it may deem fit.
